The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and the Local School Council (LSC) would like to welcome you to the Edison Regional Gifted Center. We are all proud to have your children be part of our family.  Edison Regional Gifted Center prides itself on a strong tradition of  interaction between parents, students, faculty and administration. Often we find that parents are a source of exceptional talents that can benefit all of our children in many wonderful ways. All applications for Edison Regional Gifted Center must go through the Chicago Public School's Office of Academic Enhancement. Neither Edison Regional Gifted Center nor its Principal, Saundra Gray  has a decision in the admission process.
4th quarter 10 Week Plans
Applications for the 2011-2012 academic school year will be available in October, 2010 and are due Friday, December 17, 2009. Applicants will be notified of testing and acceptance details by mail.
Pre-registration will be held on:
 
 Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 9:00-12:00 noon
and on
Monday, August 30, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 pm
 
 
Pre-registration is the opportunity to join the PTO, get information about the beginning of the school year, and renew the phone numbers that we have for communication. We will be sending out all pertinent information via email during the week of August 16th, so if you cannot attend either pre-registration dates, you can print out the forms, and send them to school during the first week.
